A Nasty Fall

my Dad fell down on Father's Day
his left hip bone is broken
it leads to heart failure, lungs infection and bloated stomach
he has been warded in the icu since Sunday
the doctors are trying to optimise his condition
before carrying out an operation to replace his hip
it's a very high risk operation
tentatively scheduled for next Monday

my Dad (80 year old) is not a believer yet
but he believes that Jesus had healed him
of a bedridden stroke and heart attack 3 1/2 years ago

everything is in God's hands...

I am so sorry to hear this. May God heal your father and bless him with a quick and full recovery.

My grandma had her hip replaced when she was in her 90's. She could walk within a few days and had hardly any pain. But her health was good enough to do the surgery. I do hope and pray your Dad's health will be in such a condition, that they can do the surgery.

Remembering y'all in our prayers.

(((HUGS))) Lieve Zus.

God's Grace.

Oh Audrey...As you know I came up from Grandpaw's blog and I wanted to read about your dad.
It saddens me that he is not saved yet. My dad is 82 and not saved. I will add your dad's name with my own dad when I pray that they will be saved....love Terry

PS Hi Merle...I always see you over at Mr. Jim's. Do you go there too Audrey? Seems to me I have seen you there too!
