Hi Audrey ~~ I had terrible problems with Spammers before I limited my posts.
Check my Jim's Little Blog comment page, "Comment as" block. There only six (I think) choices. Anyone who really wants to comment can. Most bloggers and others with Gmail already have a Google account, others with Wordpress, etc, can also comment. No anonymous.
Thank you for your comment on the rice. That is what I thought was happening.

Oh yes, if the Google commenter doesn't behave report him/her and that account will be deleted, taken away.
