Answered Prayer

the Kid has been trying to download a programme onto her laptop since last week. she must use the programme for one of her modules. it was unsuccessful even after many, many tries at home and on campus. her friends tried to help but couldn't download it either. the university office helpdesk tried to download the programme for her but was unsuccessful too.

we were at our wit's end. it is a new laptop. so the fault is not with the laptop. what is the reason then? no one knows.

then one kind senior student said that he would try to download it for her again at 2pm yesterday.

in the morning i texted my friends to pray. lo and behold the Kid managed to download the programme on her own succesfully before 2pm. the Kid addressed my praying partners as "The Praying Aunties Brigade". bless them.

the great joy of an answered prayer immediately! we serve a Living God. Praise Him!

God hears every prayer!
I am grateful she got it done. Tell the Kid 'hi' from me, hehe.

God's Grace.

Hey Audrey` do you think maybe prayer works? I am reminded me of James McCarther telling of how he was worrying about his mom being saved. He prayed about that on a dock in San Francisco.
Just afterwards while he was still on the dock a lady came up and they talked. It turned out that she knew his mom and said without James saying a word that she remembered the day his mother was saved and went on with details.
His mom had an awful time because of an awful husband. He changed, but that was after she had died.

Best of wishes for school, keep on with the "Praying Auntie Brigade" thing. It surely is a good witness!
