It's the first day of the last month of 2011
This year passes by very swiftly
We need to end it appropriately
By giving thanks and praise
To The Almighty Father with grace

Amen, Audrey! You are correct, the year did pass quickly. Very nice thoughts, and yes, let us do give our Lord thanks.
Also there has been a lot of upheaval this past year. The people, the weather, the governments, the earth, and the economy.
Everything we had thought and trusted as being stable has had more turmoil than usual. I would love to know God's thoughts about all our doings here.
We are close to home at my SIL's here in Louisiana. It is our last stop of our nice two week holiday. I will blog about some of it soon. I cannot now though, on these borrowed computers. I am very grateful for my friends and Mrs. Jim for letting me use theirs.

I rarely visit blogger anymore, so I was pleasantly surprised to see a post from you. Yes, 2011 went by quickly. I am thankful for many things, and sad about other things that have occured. But God is good, all the time. Blessed be His name forever!
