Why Oh Why?

we exchanged text messages frequently

we met for tea

you telephoned me

you said that you have very few friends

i always wonder why

you are a nice person

then i questioned myself

could it be due to your husband's occupation

that does not permit you to mingle around

as the years passed by

i get to know you better

then i knew why

i feel sad for you

i am disappointed

upon knowing why

no one is perfect

but we must strive

to be good examples

many non-believers

and young christians

are observing us

may we be encouraging

and not be a stumbling block

to anyone and everyone in our lives

it is not easy

but it is possible

if we are honest
